156 The US Navy Needs a Strategy If it’s Going to Beat China

The US Navy needs a good maritime strategy if it's going to beat China in a real war. That's because the sea is the single largest determinant of geopolitical power and if the US wants to dominate the seas, it needs a strategy, according to Paul Giarra, a retired Navy Commander who managed the US-Japan alliance for the office of the Secretary of Defense. He helped create the global strategy for the US Navy at the end of the Cold War and joins us in this episode of China Unscripted.
